At 21:57 on December 17, 2024, after more than 9 hours of extravehicular activity, astronauts Cai Xuzhe and Song Lingdong of the Shenzhou-19 crew safely returned to the Wentian Lab Module, marking the successful conclusion of the extravehicular activity. The duration of their extravehicular activity was 9 hours and 6 minutes, setting a new record for the longest extravehicular activity by Chinese astronauts and the longest spacewalk time in the world.
